Photos of the Elvis' Historical Marker
dedicated at the previous site of Market Square Arena which was the
location of Elvis' last concert in Indianapolis, IN on June 26th
1977 is being paid for by Elvis Fans all over the Country.
We have still not received all the funds needed to pay for
the $10,000 Marker. If you and a friend would
like to donate $15 each I will send you both an 8x10 I took of
Elvis at this last concert and your names will be archived at
Graceland as a contributor. Please contact me, plipps@aol.com to find out how to
contribute or send a check to the address listed below. The
photo you will receive is the photo of Elvis that is on the
Marker itself. I took the photo myself the night of the

Thank you for your help in helping
with preserving another piece of Elvis history for future
generations. There was a time capsule encased in the base of
the marker with letters, poems and other things that the fans
gave. Kay Lipps put inside one of the actual scarves that
Elvis had given her at a concert along with Keith Alverson's
book "Elvis in Concert" and a EPE Elvis catalogue. The
intention was that the time capsule would be opened in 100
years.
